Kakinada, June 25 -- : TDP Polit Bureau member Jyothula Nehru, MLA, on Thursday alleged that the recent Kapu leaders' meeting organised by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) lacked a clear agenda and was used for political purposes rather than addressing issues concerning the welfare and development of the Kapu community.
Addressing a press conference here, Nehru said the meeting failed to discuss key issues such as the overall development of Kapus, educational opportunities, employment generation, welfare measures and a future action plan for the community.
He alleged that no concrete proposals were made regarding demands to be placed before the government or steps required for the advancement of the Kapu community.
