Kakinada, June 12 -- The district unit of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) on Friday organised a cycle rally through various parts of Kakinada to protest against what it termed as the failures of the coalition government during its two years in office.
The programme was held as part of the party's statewide campaign, launched on the call of YSRCP State President and former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, under the theme "Two Years of Backstabbing by the Coalition Government".
Participants raised slogans and carried placards alleging that the government had failed to fulfil its promises and had misled the people.
YSRCP North Andhra districts coordinator and former minister Kurasala Kannababu led the rally on a motorcycle.
