Vijayawada, Sept. 5 -- The Opposition in Andhra Pradesh the YSRCP has slammed the Naidu coalition government for privatizing medical education and demanded an immediate rollback of the decision, warning that it would push aspirants from poorer sections into deep uncertainty.
Speaking to the media in Srikakulam today, former Minister Seediri Appalaraju vehemently objected againt the step to privatize ten medical colleges under PPP mode. He said the decision would deprive weaker sections of the opportunity to pursue medical education, as it would be beyond their financial reach.
