Dhanbad, May 12 -- A youth was allegedly stoned to death in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, police said on Tuesday. Two persons have been detained for questioning in connection with the case.
Police said the body of 21-year-old Jitesh Ravani was recovered from Chandmari Ground under Dhansar police station area on Tuesday morning. A motorcycle was also found near the body.
The deceased was a resident of Dhovatand under Bank More police station area. Police suspect that the assailants attacked him on the head with a heavy stone.
