New York, June 26 -- Fifty young leaders from 39 countries will travel to Hiroshima and Nagasaki from June 29 to July 3 to engage with atomic bomb survivors and advance advocacy for nuclear disarmament.
The participants, drawn from countries including Afghanistan, Brazil, Ghana, India, Iran, Lebanon, Mexico, Russia and the United States, are part of the Youth Leader Fund for a World without Nuclear Weapons (YLF), an initiative run by the UN with support from Japan.
