Ambedkar Nagar, May 4 -- Uttar Pradesh police has shot dead a youth accused of murdering a mother along with her four children in an encounter on Monday.
The encounter between the accused, Aamir, and police occurred near the Nevataria bypass at 5 a.m. on Monday.
According to police, they received information that the accused, Aamir (19), was trying to escape. Therefore, a cordon was laid to apprehend him.
During this time, a suspect was seen approaching on a bike. When signaled to stop, he turned the bike and started running. While fleeing, the bike skidded. Then he started firing at the police. In the retaliatory action, the accused was killed.
