Mangaluru, June 10 -- Two persons, including a Youth Congress functionary, have been arrested in connection with an alleged honey-trap and blackmail case in coastal Karnataka in which a contractor was allegedly extorted of Rs 2.57 crore, police said on Wednesday.
The accused have been identified as Jitesh and Nizam alias Ibrahim. According to police, Jitesh, who was reportedly acquainted with the contractor, allegedly recorded private videos and photographs of the victim without consent and used them to blackmail him since 2024.
