Chennai, Oct. 22 -- A young 27-year-old financial influencer V.Harish, who had been posting videos on Instagram on financial investments and savings, ended his life allegedly due to cyberbullying and extortion threats following which a YouTuber was arrestedon Thursday.
He ran "Finance with Harish" and offered financial advises pertaining to stock market and mutual fund and had amassed over a million followers. A few weeks back his established account was taken down by Meta Inc. following allegations of offering "illegal, unregistered, and misleading financial advice" without a mandatory SEBI Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) licence.
