Pune, June 8 -- A grand civic felicitation ceremony was organized by Giripremi at the Modern College Auditorium, Pune, to celebrate the successful completion of its 2026 Mount Everest Expedition.
The event honoured young mountaineers Akhil Katkar, Mihir Jadhav and Vivek Shivade, who climbed Mount Everest in May this year under the leadership of veteran mountaineer Umesh Zirpe, along with expedition member Nikunj Shah, a release stated on Monday.
The programme witnessed an overwhelming response from mountaineers, adventure enthusiasts, students, supporters and distinguished guests from various walks of life.
