Panchkula, June 21 -- Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Aarti Singh Rao on Sunday called for making yoga an integral part of daily life rather than limiting it to an annual celebration, saying regular practice can play a vital role in preventing health issues associated with ageing and improving overall well-being.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the International Day of Yoga celebrations in Panchkula, the minister extended greetings to citizens on the occasion and highlighted the state government's efforts to promote yoga across Haryana.

"We have celebrated Yoga Day at the state, district and block levels across Haryana. However, yoga should not remain a one-day event. It must become a part of our everyday lifestyle," ...
