Bhopal, June 21 -- President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday described yoga as a priceless gift of India's cultural heritage to the world and said it had shown humanity the path to a healthy, balanced and meaningful life.
Addressing the state-level International Yoga Day programme at Garrison Ground in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, she said yoga was the outcome of thousands of years of spiritual practice by Indian sages and seers.
The President said the message of health, balance, peace and self-realisation emanating from the land of yoga was once again reaching people across the globe.
