Chennai, July 30 -- Accusing the ruling TVK of Vijay of being more scared thanthe BJP over the NEET protests and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota, Opposition DMK President and former CM MK.Stalin on Thursday condemned the Tamil Nadu government for denying permission to the Dravidar Kazhagam (DK) to undertake campaign tour on these issues.
In a post on X, Stalin sought to know why the TVK government, which has been following Rationalist leader and social reformer Periyar's ideologies and had publicly announced that he was its ideological leader, has deployed a large number of police personnelat the Periyar Thidal (Periyar memorial) in the city ahead of the DK's campaign movement and stalling it at the last minute.
