New Delhi, Jan. 5 -- Parliament passed 39 Bills with the approval of both Houses during 2025, marking a busy legislative year for the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, according to the government's year-end review released on Monday.

The review said several landmark legislations were enacted, including the Income-tax Bill, National Sports Governance Bill, Waqf (Amendment) Bill, Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, SHANTI Bill and the VB-G-Ram-G Bill. Parliament also held special discussions on Operation Sindoor, election reforms and the 150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram.
