Yamunanagar, Oct. 24 -- The Yamunanagar administration will allot 70 temporary green cracker shops at five designated locations for Diwali, with applications to be accepted from October 27 to November 1 and allotment to be made through a draw on November 2, SDM Jagadhri Vishwanath said on Saturday.
Applicants can submit their applications at the SDM's office in Jagadhri between 9 am on October 27 and 5 pm on November 1. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered, he said.
Of the 70 shops, 15 will be allotted at Railway Ground, Railway Workshop, Yamunanagar; 10 at the stadium inside City Centre; 30 at the HUDA ground in Sector 18, opposite the HUDA office on the northern side; 10 on vacant land behind ESI Hospital, Yam...
