Arti BaliNew Delhi, Sept. 13 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday sent out a clear and positive message to India and other BRICS nations by declaring that his country's 15th five-year plan (2026-2030) will be an instrument for deeper global engagement, focusing on high-quality development at home while creating new opportunities for cooperation with countries around the world, particularly the Global South.
Addressing the second day of the BRICS Summit in New Delhi, Xi said China would use the plan to expand high-standard opening-up, implement the Global Development Initiative and advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
