Hyderabad, June 18 -- : A delegation from the World Monuments Fund (WMF) on Thursday visited the Telangana State Museum and expressed willingness to support efforts for the conservation and revival of the historic institution.
The delegation, led by Executive Director Malini Tandon, appreciated the museum's rich collection of antiquities and artefacts, describing it as a repository of Telangana's cultural heritage and historical legacy.
During the visit, the team observed that the museum building requires urgent conservation and restoration measures to preserve its architectural and heritage value.
It also stressed the need to improve visitor amenities and infrastructure.
