Varanasi, Nov. 5 -- The world-famous Ganga Maha Aarti held at Dashashwamedh Ghat here on Wednesday evening was dedicated to 'Operation Sindoor'.
The Dev Deepawali festival, dedicated to spirituality and nationalism, was held at Dashashwamedh Ghat this year as well.
The Maha Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat was performed by 21 priests and 42 Devkanyas. Additionally, through the long-standing 'Ek Sankalp Ganga Kinare' campaign, the Ganga Seva Nidhi conducted a pledge on the banks of the Ganga to keep Mother Ganga clean and pure, and to conserve the environment and water. They urged everyone to contribute to keeping Mother Ganga clean and pure.
