Panchkula, June 18 -- Haryana Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Shruti Choudhry on Thursday said that the state's first-ever World Bank-supported Integrated Water Management Project, envisaged at an estimated cost of nearly Rs 5,700 crore, would prove to be a game changer for Haryana by transforming irrigation management, water conservation and distribution systems across the state.
According to a statement issued here , the minister said the state government was working with a long-term and scientific vision to strengthen water management and ensure efficient utilisation of water resources.
She said the integrated project would introduce modern technology-driven solutions across the irrigation network.
