Nashik, Sept. 9 -- A workshop on 'Healthy Ageing' was organised for the officers and employees of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) yesterday to mark World Physiotherapy Day.

The workshop was conducted by physiotherapist Dr Sagar Mahajan from the university's health centre.

Dr. Mahajan said that regular physical activity reduces the risk of many serious health problems, including heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, some types of cancer, and bone diseases. He stressed the need for people to take the help of a physiotherapist to make the journey of healthy ageing easier.
