Work seriously on design of building before its construction: Anandiben Patel

Lucknow, Sept. 8 -- Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel today said that before the construction of any building, its design should be seriously considered and the outline prepared according to its utility, so as to obtain the actual benefit of that structure.

The Governor,who inaugurated seven construction works carried out by the Public Works Department and the Electricity Department in the Raj Bhawan auditorium here, emphasized that while making the design, long-term use should also be kept in mind. Emphasis should be laid on savings, and wasteful expenditure should be avoided.
