Hyderabad, Jan. 4 -- In an effort to promote social change through creative expression, the Women's Safety Wing of the Telangana Police, in collaboration with UNICEF and Annapurna College of Film and Media, has announced a one-minute film festival on Women's Safety and Child Protection titled "One Minute Can Change Everything."Announcing the initiative, officials said that despite progressive laws and improved enforcement mechanisms, crimes against women and children continue to be a serious concern. They stressed that while legal reforms are important, lasting change can come only by transforming mindsets that normalise discrimination, silence and harmful behaviour.
