Shimla, June 18 -- The Himachal Pradesh unit of the All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) has expressed serious concern over the increasing incidents of violence against women in the state and alleged that the law-and-order situation has deteriorated, raising questions over the safety and security of women.

AIDWA state president Ranjana Jaret and state secretary Falma Chauhan in a joint statement on Thursday, strongly condemned the recent killings of women reported from different parts of the state.
