New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- The National Security Guard (NSG) has taken a significant step towards enhancing the participation of women in specialised counter-terrorism duties with the launch of the first Mahila Commando Conversion Course (MCCC) at its Training Academy in Manesar, Haryana.
The 12-week programme brings together women personnel from State Police Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), with the objective of providing them advanced operational training and preparing them for specialised assignments within their respective organisations.
