Kalaburagi, April 22 -- In a striking reflection of changing academic trends, women emerged as the dominant achievers at the 10th Convocation of the Central University of Karnataka, securing over 80 per cent of the gold medals, a development hailed as a sign of rising "Nari Shakti".

Addressing the ceremony on Wednesday, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan described the overwhelming presence of women among toppers as a marker of a broader social transformation towards equality and leadership across sectors.
