Mumbai, Aug. 26 -- Mystery shrouded the recovery of the body of an unidentified woman from a deep gorge in the Tamhini Ghat area of Raigad district in Maharshtra, with police suspecting that she may have been murdered and her body disposed of at the isolated spot.
According to police, the body was noticed approximately 15 to 20 feet below the roadside in a gorge in the Tamhini Ghat area. The information was received at around 1230 hours on Tuesday, following which personnel launched an immediate search and rescue operation.
