Nagpur, June 2 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested a woman police sub-inspector (PSI) posted at Wathoda police station in Maharashtra's Nagpur city for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 30,000 in connection with a molestation case, officials said.

The accused, identified as PSI Pranali Benke, allegedly sought the bribe from a 32-year-old travels businessman in exchange for not taking action against him in a molestation case, they said.

According to officials, the complainant had reportedly helped a woman with insurance-related financial work and was seeking commission for the same. Following a dispute over payment, he lodged a complaint against the woman at Wathoda police station.
