Beed, May 24 -- Authorities in Beed district of Maharashtra have externed a woman from the Mominpura area for a period of six months over her alleged involvement in black magic practices, cheating and other criminal activities, an official said on Sunday.
The externment order was issued by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kavita Jadhav following repeated complaints and criminal cases registered against the woman over the past decade.
According to officials, a total of 10 serious cases were registered against the accused between 2014 and 2024. Police stated that her activities had created fear and panic among residents and posed a threat to the safety and security of citizens in the locality.
