Nagpur, April 6 -- A married woman allegedly died by suicide in Maharashtra's Nagpur city, leaving behind an emotional note addressed to her husband, police said on Monday.
The incident occurred on Sunday in the Mahadula area under the jurisdiction of Koradi police station. The deceased has been identified as Mayuri Mendhe.
According to police sources, the woman had been facing marital discord for some time and was reportedly under mental stress.
Following disputes with her husband, she had been staying at her parental home for the past one month.
On the day of the incident, she allegedly tried to contact her husband several times, but he did not respond to her calls.
