Beed, May 29 -- A 55-year-old woman who sustained severe burn injuries while rescuing her brother's young children from a devastating house fire at Bardapur in Ambajogai taluka on Friday has died during treatment at a government hospital.
The tragic death of Rabbani Sheikh, who risked her own life to save innocent children trapped inside the burning house, has left residents of the area deeply saddened. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
A fire broke out at the residence of Sheikh Sheru Sheikh Huzoor, a resident of Bardapur. As soon as it became known that young children were trapped inside the house, Sheru's sister, Rabbani Sheikh, along with her nephew Azim Sheikh, rushed into the burning structure without hesitation.
