Latur, Nov. 25 -- A 30-year-old woman succumbed to injuries sustained in an accident involving a vehicle from Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's convoy.
The victim, identified as Kusum Vishnu Sude, passed away today morning while undergoing treatment at Sahyadri Hospital in Latur district.
The accident occurred on November 22, when DCM Pawar was travelling from Partur to Ausa for election campaigning. As the convoy approached Dhunkavad Phata on the Telgaon-Dharur Highway, a motorcycle carrying the Sude family collided with a fire brigade vehicle that was part of the convoy.
