Nahan, July 30 -- A case has been registered against a woman from Chandigarh at Pachhad police station in Sirmaur district for allegedly purchasing agricultural land using a forged farmer's certificate. Police have registered an FIR based on a complaint and initiated an investigation.

According to police, on July 28, 2026, Indra Dutt, son of Hukam Dutt and a resident of Sarahan village in Pachhad tehsil of Sirmaur district, filed a complaint at Pachhad police station.

The complaint alleges that Ranbir Sood, wife of Puneet Sood, a resident of Sector 49-D, Chandigarh, and currently residing at Pohghat village under Bagpashog post office in Pachhad tehsil, allegedly obtained a forged farmer's certificate and used it to purchase agricultural ...
