Pune, March 31 -- The hearing in the defamation case filed against Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, over his alleged defamatory statements about Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar continues before the Special Court in Pune.
In the said case, the cross-examination of the complainant Satyaki Savarkar, was conducted on Tuesday by Advocate Milind Dattatray Pawar, counsel for Rahul Gandhi.
During the cross-examination, Satyaki Savarkar admitted that he had not verified whether Rahul Gandhi was a Member of Parliament on the day he delivered his speech in London, and he does not remember the same, said Adv Milind Pawar.
