Chennai, Feb. 22 -- Still undecided on its partnet after promising to forge a grand alliance and with the Assembly elections fast approaching, the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) faction led by its Founder Dr S Ramadoss suffered a setback as the Madras High Court has dismissed two writ petitions filed by him on the Party's 'Mango' symbol.
In his pleas, Dr Ramadoss sought a direction to the Election Commission of India (ECI) to either allow his faction use the 'Mango' symbol during the elections in Tamil Nadu and in the neighbouring union Territory of Puducherry or freeze it to prevent the other faction led by his 'estranged' son Anbumani from using it.
