Chennai, July 31 -- Following Karnataka backtracking on the proposed Chief Ministerial-level summit to resolve the vexatious Cauvery issue, the opposition in Tamil Nadu has targeted Chief Minister Vijay and forcefully reiterated the demand for convening an all-party meet along with farmers' representatives to chalk out the next course of action arising out of the upper riparian state not releasing the scheduled quantum of water.

Even as the chorus for an all-party meeting to evolve a consensus grows louder with the Vijay government's allies, the Left Parties and the VCK joining it, the Chief Minister remains tight-lipped.
