Guwahati, Dec. 2 -- With academic activities in Assam's premiere Tezpur University coming to a complete halt and a campus lockdown imposed since November 27, Assam Congress chief Gaurav Gogoi has sought an urgent attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the challenges confronting the university.

Gogoi's letter to Prime Minister Modi seeks his intervention, requesting him to look into the concerns over alleged administrative and financial irregularities at Tezpur University.
