Winter session of eighth legislative assembly begins on January 5

New Delhi, Jan. 5 -- Winter Session of the Eighth Legislative Assembly will be held from January 5-8, 2026. It will begin with the Address of the Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena at 11:00 AM on the opening day. In advance of the Session, Speaker reviewed the overall preparedness of the Assembly House, including legislative, administrative, and technological arrangements, in the presence of senior officials of the Assembly Secretariat and other concerned departments.
