Snehal SenKolkata, May 20 -- The state urban development and municipal department in West Bengal will not stand by any illegal building that has been erected for beautification purposes or otherwise, minister Agnimitra Paul said on Wednesday.
"We will not stand by any illegal building as it endangers the lives of other people. We are giving time to the owners to furnish any legal documents that they can come up with. If they fail to do so, the buildings will be demolished in accordance with the laws of the country," Paul, the only woman minister in the BJP cabinet, told UNI.
