Kolhapur, Aug. 1 -- District guardian minister Prakash Abitkar issuing a stern warning said that no one found guilty in the illegal abortions case will be spared in which a retired civil surgeon has been arrested.
In an urgent review meeting at the district collector office this evening after yesterday's busting of a racket of illegal sex determination and illegal abortions, in which retired civil surgeon Dr Chandrakant Gaikwad was arrested, he said that the State is a very progressive one, known as the land of Lokraja Shahu Maharaj, and the retired civil surgeon has committed a heinous act that has tarnished humanity.
