New Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug. 7 -- Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Friday thanked the Congress high command and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for appointing him as Chairman of Media, Communications and Publicity for the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), and pledged to effectively counter what he termed the "false propaganda" of the BRS and BJP.
Addressing the media in New Delhi, Kiran Kumar said the Congress government inherited a debt-ridden state after coming to power in December 2023, and that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had worked tirelessly to restore the state's finances by securing Central support.
