Ranchi, Nov. 27 -- The Directorate of Information and Public Relations on Thursday announced that a wildlife exchange programme between Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park, Ranchi, and Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam, has been successfully completed.

The exchange was carried out in accordance with the guidelines and standards set by the Central Zoo Authority, ensuring the safe and smooth transfer of animals between the two zoos.

As part of the programme, Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park, Ranchi, sent Himalayan Black Bear, Spotted Dove, Silver Pheasant, and Gharial to Visakhapatnam.
