New Delhi, Sept. 6 -- : Deepak Sharma, counsel for TV actor Aashish Kapoor, has questioned the Delhi Police over the urgency in arresting his client while his anticipatory bail plea was still under consideration by the court. "What was the rush, why did Delhi Police not wait for the court order which was reserved? Why were they in a hurry to arrest my client, whereas the co-accused were recently released on bail?" Sharma said.

Kapoor, who was arrested in connection with an alleged gangrape case, was first taken on four-day police custodial remand and later sent to 14-day judicial custody by a Delhi court.
