New Delhi, Nov. 14 -- India's wholesale inflation for October fell to minus1.2 per cent. The fall in inflation in October, 2025 is primarily due to decrease in prices of food articles, crude petroleum & natural gas, electricity, mineral oils and manufacture of basic metals, data released by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry said.

The WPI-based inflation stood at 0.13 pc in September and was 2.75 pc in October last year. Wholesale inflation was in negative territory in July (minus 0.58) and October this year.
