Chandigarh, May 9 -- The Wrestling Federation of India has barred Olympian wrestler Vinesh Phogat from participating in domestic competitions until June 26, citing alleged indiscipline and violation of anti-doping regulations.

In a 15-page show-cause notice issued on Saturday, the federation accused Phogat of failing to provide the mandatory six-month prior notice before returning from retirement, terming it a violation of the WFI constitution, United World Wrestling (UWW) regulations and anti-doping norms.
