Kolkata, Nov. 26 -- West Bengal has emerged as one of the top three states in the country to receive international tourists during 2023-24, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Wednesday.
Sharing the information, the chief minister said the state has emerged as one of the most favoured international tourist destinations in the country, "achieving another great milestone".
In the recently released India Tourism Data Compendium 2025 by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, West Bengal has attracted the second highest foreign tourist footfall in the country, she said.
