Kolkata, July 11 -- West Bengal chief minister Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday will visit the families of a 12-year-old girl who was allegedly raped and murdered and a man who was lynched after being wrongly suspected of involvement in the crime.
The visit comes a day after police arrested three more people in connection with the lynching of Indrajit Mondal in Baruipur, taking the total number of arrests in the case to five.
The girl's body was recovered from a pond in Suryapur, Baruipur, on Sunday. Police said they have arrested all the accused in the alleged gang rape and murder of the minor.
