Kolkata, Sept. 7 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has officially scheduled the crucial Assembly bye-elections for West Bengal's 210-Nandigram and 70-Rejinagar constituencies for October 6, 2026.
The counting of the both the assemblies will take place on October 9.
The Election Commission of India has also announced Assembly by-elections in Madurantakam and Dharapuram in Tamil Nadu, Thattanchavady in Puducherry, and the Nagaon parliamentary constituency in Assam on the same date.
