Kolkata, July 4 -- The West Bengal State Legislative Assembly is expected to complete its transition to a fully paperless legislature within the next 100 days, Speaker Rathindra Bose announced on Saturday, describing the move as a significant step towards modernising the functioning of the House.

Speaking on the second and final day of a two-day orientation programme for MLAs at New Town, Bose said the Assembly would soon conduct all legislative business through a digital platform, eliminating the need for printed papers in its day-to-day proceedings.
