Copenhagen, Sept. 8 -- The war in West Asia and the growing uncertainty regarding access to ports and key transport routes are key signs of an emerging wider breakdown in the rules governing international shipping, a group of major maritime nations said on Tuesday.
The Consultative Shipping Group (CSG), an informal coalition of 18 maritime countries including Greece, Denmark, the UK, Canada, Singapore, Japan, the Netherlands and South Korea, said a series of recent disruptions had exposed the vulnerability of the global trading system.
