Berlin, May 8 -- Werder Bremen has signed French forward Kenny Quetant from Ligue 1 side Le Havre, making the 19-year-old its first arrival for next season on a free transfer, the Bundesliga club announced.

Quetant, born in Paris and developed in Le Havre's academy, will move to northern Germany after his contract with the French club expires at the end of the season.

Werder did not disclose the length of the deal. The center-forward, who stands 1.89 meters tall, progressed from youth football into Le Havre's senior squad and made his Ligue 1 debut in December 2025. He has made nine league appearances this season, five as a substitute, scoring once, and has also played once in the cup, according to Xinhua.
