Chennai, Oct. 19 -- The Low Pressure area over southwest Arabian Sea which became well marked moved slowly eastwards and persisted over the same region at 0530 hrs today, even as Met office said it is unlikely to impact the Indian region.
It is likely to intensify into a Depression over the same region during next 24 hours. It is likely to move initially east-northeastwards, recurve gradually northwestwards and move towards Somalia coast during next 2-3 days.
There is no impact of this system over Indian region, Met office said in an update.
